Admission Standards

Students must be:

• Full-time residents of New Mexico and
• Age 5 by September 1 of the upcoming school year or
• Age 21 or younger by the first day of school

Enrollment Requirements

Academic Records

• Current transcripts or academic record identifying what grade your student is in.
• Withdrawal confirmation from your child’s previous school.

Proof of Age

• A certified copy of the child’s birth certificate.
• Other reliable proof of the student’s identity and age.

Proof of Guardianship

Proof of Residence
Acceptable documentation includes:

• Utility bill
• Signed letter from chapter house
• Other official document verifying the physical residence

In accordance with state law, before attending school, all children must have the following immunizations:

• Polio Series
• DTP Series (diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis)
• MMR 1 and 2 (measles, mumps and rubella)
• Hepatitis B Series
• Varicella (chicken pox)

New Mexico state statute requires all students be currently immunized before entrance into public school. If a student does not have the required immunizations after thirty days of entering school, the student may be dis-enrolled.
